There was a long wait for entrees. Apps can in a reasonable amount of time. Enjoyed the mushroom fries.

Appetizers for half off is a real bargain. We had the onion rings but my favorite also was the mushrooms. They were out of the lobster dip which I want to try. I also go the walleye it was very big portion and very good. Kids enjoyed the burgers off the kids menu. One had fruit and the other fries. Great atmosphere and the manager is a real cool guy he waited on us. We'll return soon to try the lobster dip and some other menu items. Went back had the reuben it was tasty! The original burger was also good and sweet potato waffle fries. The cucumber salad was spicy. Also taste tasted the moonshine bbq it is sweet and smokey flavor. Have to try the wings with that on it next time.

I went here for dinner with my friend last night and we immediately noticed how relaxed the atmosphere felt without seeming empty or too spacious. The extra room to navigate the space and plenty of lower seating was great because he utilizes a walker and requires a certain level of accessibility. The biggest standout to our dining experience other than the excellent food was our waitress, Julia. It was apparently her first day working at Barrel House and my friend and I would've had no idea if it hadn't come up naturally with her during conversation, she was SO good to us. We would absolutely come back again knowing that places like this clearly prioritize the customer experience and that aspect of service. Everyone else I have encountered here was awesome and polite too, but we wanted to give Julia a shoutout! Oh yeah, the chicken & chorizo soup was so good I immediately asked for another to-go!

We had such a good experience here! We were seated quickly and our server came right over, which I always appreciate. Our food came out fast too — no long wait at all. They give really good portions for the price. I ordered the margherita flatbread and it was only $10! You really can’t beat that. It was fresh, flavorful, and definitely filled me up. I would definitely recommend ordering the flatbread. There are plenty of booths and tables, so it’s a great spot whether you’re just stopping in or meeting up with a big group! Add it to your restaurant bucket list!

The food was great. Nachos with chicken appetizer was very good. Way better than expected. Also had the fish and chips which was also very good. Can’t complain about the food at all. Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was nice and courteous. Atmosphere was okay, like Applebees.

I got their portobello mushroom burger and a side salad. Both were excellent. Asked for a margarita, not too sweet, and the bartender got it right. Waitress did a good job. Atmosphere was nice. Music wasn't too loud and wasn't obnoxious. I'll be back.

First time here and was so pleased. It was after the lunch rush but the waitress was attentive. The food came out quickly and was too hot to eat. Never happened anywhere. Ordered the fish and it was amazing. So were the Fries. This will be one of go to places

This was our second time visiting in the last 3 mos, the first time the food was delicious. Last night when we went, our burgers were dry, and my sweet potato fries were a little over cooked. We were the only patrons so we expected the food to be better. The server was friendly with a bubbly personality.
